Last night there was a slight mishap involving:

1. Gin martinis on the couch.
2. Molly being a lap kitty, quietly purring to herself.
3. A shocking news story in the media!

The astute reader will guess what happened; yes, on learning of the shocking news story, a glass was jostled in the excitement and Molly got a coatful of martini.

We promptly cleaned it off before she could do so herself. Molly was a good sport about it, because she’s pretty much always a good sport when she’s enjoying a lap.
