Molly has dreadlocks. Her white fur is soft and fluffy, but it’s mottled with coarse tabby fur that has recently begun tangling into clumps. These dreads are forming on her lower back, which (I suspect) she cannot reach with her tongue. Unfortunately, Molly has always hated and feared the brush. Can she be retrained to submit to daily brushings? Time will tell.
