Review

Tutta Bella is located in the forever-gentrifying Columbia City business district along Rainier Avenue. They bill themselves as the only "certified" Neapolitan pizzeria in the Northwest. The certification is granted by Verace Pizza Napoletana∞ and is meant to signify that the restaurant uses authentic Neapolitan Italian ingredients and techniques. Never having been to Naples I cannot vouch for the authenticity of Tutta Bella's pizzas, but I can vouch for their quality, taste and value, all of which are stellar. The ingredients are fresh and yummy and are piled onto the pizza dough conservatively, with the result that you can actually taste all of the flavors individually. It makes for a lovely pizza experience. By the way, $5-7 may seem steep for a small salad but here a "small" serves two people comfortably, so that works out very well indeed.
